THE OMICRON CHALLENGE RUNDOWN
The Omicron Challenge is the only way to become an official member of the House Omicron creative community. It is a 6-month process that requires each participant to deliver a finished ORIGINAL visual, written, spoken, or performed expression of their respective gift or talent. The works presented each month should be “sell-or-show” quality. There should also be documented proof of the process leading up to finished works.
While the OC is the only way to become a member of House Omicron, participants are not required to become members. House O has two circles of involvement. The Outer Circle is reserved for volunteers and associates. The Inner Circle of House Omicron is open to fully dedicated members.
There is a 3-strike rule for the challenge. Missed deadlines will result in expulsion from the OC. Participating in future Omicron Challenges must be voted on by Inner Circle members.
The Omicron Challenge serves a purpose by revealing qualities that will keep the “Creative Streak” alive. Productive members preserve the life and legacy of the organization, hence being shining examples to those who come into the fold after them. Excellence, not perfection, is a major principle we aim to uphold in the Orange and Gold. What we create. What we leave behind. It should be measured as treasure.

Rules of the Challenge
As a measure taken to protect the ideas, concepts, brands and intellectual property of OC participants, NDAs(non-disclosure agreements) must be signed by everyone before the challenge starts.
The Omicron Challenge is a 6-month process. Each month of this process, you will be challenged with delivering a finished original visual, written, vocal or performed and recorded work.
Each participant has from the 11th of one month to the 11th of the following month to produce and present.
Your process from start to finish should be documented in photos or videos or both.
AI is ONLY to be used by those who do not have the ability to illustrate their ideas.
There is a 3-strike rule for the challenge. This challenge is just as much about taking ACTION as it is about capturing the VISION that comes before it. Meeting deadlines will make or break you in this challenge.

Each month, midway through, there will be a group chat. The topics will just be a check-in to see if anyone needs help or advise, OR any subject that spontaneously pops up. There will also be an opportunity for each participant to chat one-on-one with any of the House Omicron curators every month.
The Omicron Challenge is the collective’s means of vetting potential members. We are looking, not just for talent, but also those who will commit and represent Omicron well in the mission to make this a long-term culture.
